A new SurfSeis 3 license will cost $3750 (plus s/h). Any prior version of SurfSeis (v1 or v2) can be upgraded to SurfSeis 3 for $750 per license. Contact us for our current pricing structure (full-use, academic, rental, multiple copies).

• NOTE: Educational copies of SurfSeis are not authorized for any commercial or consulting activities.

Upgrades

A new version of SurfSeis will be available every year to 18 months. The Upgrade Price includes one year of technical support.

Rental Term/Rates for Individuals or Organizations

• May be renewed for additional months for $1,250 per month.
• Rental fees paid (excl. shipping and handling) may be applied toward purchase price.
• When price paid equals full purchase price, a new unrestricted license code will be issued upon request.

Workshop

• One person free registration with purchase.
• Each additional person $300 registration.
• Small workshop size (8-12).
• Do not have to purchase SurfSeis to attend workshop.

Shipping and Handling

Shipping and handling costs will be:

Within the U.S.--Flat rate of $25

Outside the U.S.--Shipping costs + $15

Orders will normally be shipped within five business days from receipt of order. Please provide a street address; Federal Express can not deliver to postal box addresses. Within the U.S. orders will be sent Federal Express Standard Overnight (delivery next day p.m.). Federal Express Priority Overnight (next day by 10:30 a.m.) will be used only if specifically requested and the requesting customer agrees to pay for all extra shipping costs incurred (we can charge shipping to customer's FedEx account).

Orders to addresses outside the U.S. will be sent Federal Express International Priority if we have an address acceptable to Federal Express (no P.O. boxes). Shipping by U.S. Airmail may also be requested, and will be used for all P.O. box addresses.

Payment Methods

Full payment is required before software is shipped. Pro-forma invoices are available on request. Rental fees are nonrefundable but will be applied to subsequent purchase (not including shipping and handling).

We accept MasterCard, VISA, Discover, American Express, and checks payable to the Kansas Geological Survey. Checks must be in US$ and drawn on a U.S. bank.

If you wish to wire payment, request our bank information from mbro@kgs.ku.edu. If you choose to send your payment by wire, add a wire fee of $25 to the amount owed. Your copy of SurfSeis will not be shipped until full payment, including wire fee, has been received.
