The Kansas Geological Survey, the Kansas Corporation Commission, and Westar Energy are convening a round-table discussion of the issues and opportunities surrounding the geologic storage of carbon dioxide (CO2) in Kansas. The meeting's purpose is to bring together geologists, utilities, regulators, and others to listen, learn about, and discuss issues surrounding CO2 sequestration, particularly those relevant specifically to Kansas.
