Please Notice Dates Have Changed.

RPSEA (Research Partnership to Secure Energy for America) is a non-profit consortium of U.S. Energy research universities, industry, non-governmental organizations, national laboratories, federally funded research and development centers, and independent research organizations. RPSEA's mission is to provide stewardship and funding for focused research to develop and deploy safe and environmentally sensitive technology that can effectively deliver hydrocarbons from domestic resources to the U.S. Market.

Every year, for ten years, RPSEA will use its $37.5 million budget to fund various industry-backed research projects related to a) ultra-deepwater, b) unconventional resources, and c) small producers. RPSEA's budget for Small Producer program is around $3 million/yr. This meeting will focus on small producers and researchers from the Mid-continent (especially Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and New Mexico) to network, discuss, and define "focus areas" related to Mid-Continent producibility problems. Small producers are encouraged to provide input to define these "focus areas," and to create and participate in research alliances targeting solutions that can be funded by RPSEA as part of their FY 2010 program.

Please consider participating in this meeting hosted by the Kansas Geological Survey (University of Kansas) and local industry partners to help define the technical needs that can be addressed by RPSEA's funding to increase domestic oil and gas production.
