Oil and Gas Production Data

• County production Interactive map of Kansas

Wells and Well Logs

• Master list of oil and gas wells available to the KGS. In addition to displaying results to the screen, this system allows you to saves lists of wells to a text file.
• LAS Files Available Over 2000 wireline logs are available as LAS (Log ASCII Standard) format files.
• Wireline Log Header Database Paper wireline logs archived in the KGS Data Resource Library.
• Plugged Wells in Kansas is provided using data from the Kansas Corporation Commission.
• Core Library Index stored at the Kansas Geological Survey are indexed by County, Stratigraphic Horizon, and Township-Range.
• Rotary-cutting samples stored at the Kansas Geological Survey Wichita Office
