Research Engineer
Tertiary Oil Recovery Project (TORP)
University of Kansas

The Tertiary Oil Recovery Project at the University of Kansas has an opening for a research engineer. Responsibilities include research, development and field applications of improved oil recovery processes in Kansas reservoirs. Duties may also include supervision of research and field applications. Required qualifications include: a doctorate in chemical or petroleum engineering, or related discipline, experience in improved oil recovery research and petroleum reservoir engineering, demonstrated ability to conduct research and demonstrated ability in oral and written communication. Preferred qualifications include: experience in carbon dioxide miscible flooding research and/or field applications, reservoir simulation experience and experience in the petroleum industry.
