• Remediation requires an ongoing energy input and maintenance following installation.
• Surface structures are required as part of the remediation.
• The ground-water flow system is altered as a result of the operation of the P&T wellfeld.
• P&T causes the mixing of contaminated and uncontaminated ground water.
• P&T remediation projects require a longer time to attain cleanup goals than some other technologies due to tailing and rebound of contaminant concentrations in heterogeneous aquifers.
• Spent Forager™ sponge or granules must be disposed of or recharged to remove adsorbed heavy metals.

Based on your understanding of how the Forager™ polymer removes heavy metals including chromium from water, what strategy would you use to insure that chromium-contaminated water was not being returned to the aquifer in the injection well or is this an issue?
