PfEFFER Pro is a cost-effective and practical tool for the real-time, interactive log analysis. Spreadsheet database and graphic features allow both rapid interaction and comparative evaluation of multiple interpretations or best case/worst case extremes. In addition, multiple wells and zones are easily managed. A project file can be generated that assembles reservoir parameter, grids them, and displays them as 2-D maps or 3-D surfaces.

Modules in PfEFFER Pro include:

Requirements: PfEFFER Pro is an add-in for Excel.
PC only, with at least - Microsoft Windows 95/98/NT/XP operating system. VGA or higher resolution video adapter. PfEFFER addins and example files require 2 MB hard disk space.

Goals of PfEFFER

The minimum log data required by the spreadsheet-based software is a porosity and resistivity log. Old logs are well suited to this analysis once they are digitized or simply typed into the spreadsheet. The original PfEFFER project was very successful and resulted in an approach and a software program that has been well received by the sponsoring companies.
