Kansas Geological Survey Open-file Report 2001-38 |
Approximately 60% of the 155 million barrels of oil produced has come from the L-KC, with the majority from the L-KC "C" and "G" zones. The pay lithofacies for both is a highly porous oomoldic grainstone. Both zones have been successfully waterflooded and the "C" zone (Plattsburg) is the target for a pilot CO2 miscible flood.
