Figure 8--Membership Functions. Class (k=8) membership functions (MF) for the seven variables (j). Thes are for kernal smoothing window dimensions u0 that are fairly close to the optimized u. The MF space is divided by 100 and the values at each point on the y-axis (the observation value) is stored in a 1 x 101 array.
