RESERVOIR CHARACTERIZATION PROCEDURES
- Cored wells were sampled and thin sectioned for petrographic examination to evaluate differences in reservoir quality
- Core derived permeabilities were correlated to geophysical logs and a mathematical relationship was derived to calculate permeability values for wells with logs but no cores
- Porosity and permeability values were used to calculate flow zone indices and correlate flow zones of similar character within the reservoir
