Summary Manlove Field:
Manlove Field is a large aquifer gas storage field in the Mt. Simon Sandstone formed in east-central Illinois along an anticlinal bulge in the LaSalle Anticlinorium.
Porosity and Vshale models, constructed from log and core data indicate heterogeneous compartmentalized reservoir sand bodies. Some high porosity sands and adjacent lower porosity sands have a distinct NE-SW orientation and may represent distinct channel sandbodies.
