The Calculator Tutorial
At the upper right-hand corner of Map View is a button labeled Calculator.
The Calculator is a tool for you to estimate the distance traveled by the leading edge (maximum distance) and trailing edge (minimum distance) of the edges of the plume along the ground-water flow path. This calculation is based on Darcy's law. For the sake of simplicity it is assumed that the plume is moving with the same velocity as the ground water.
