The hydraulic conductivity is a measure of the permeability of the aquifer or how easy it is for water to move through the aquifer from one location to another. Aquifers that are very permeable have a higher hydraulic conductivity than aquifers that are less permeable. Highly productive aquifers have hydraulic conductivities that exceed 50 feet per day.
