EAVESDROPPER Demonstration Disk April 1993 Instructions This file is also contained on the demo disk as README.DMO. This diskette contains a compressed file of approximately 720K. When this file is uncompressed it takes 2.3MB of space. Because of other files that are created during the demonstration process, we recommend that you have at least 3.5MB free on your hard disk before you proceed with this demonstration of EAVESDROPPER. FIRST Create a new directory on your hard disk to hold the demo (the directory should be COMPLETELY empty) and log to that directory. It is not important what you call this directory. We do not recommend running the demo at the root level of DOS. SECOND Copy DEMO.EXE from this disk to your newly-created directory. At the DOS prompt type DEMO to execute a batch file that will uncompress the demo file. THIRD To start the demonstration, type the name of the appropriate batch file from the list below. There are six batch files that can be run depending on your hardware and your desired demonstration. DEMOCGA - CGA monitor and IBM graphics printer DEMOCGA1 DEMOEGA - EGA or VGA monitor and IBM graphics printer DEMOEGA1 DEMOHP - EGA or VGA monitor and HP printer DEMOHP1 As you can see, there are two versions of each demo. DEMOHP shows only the results of fk processing while DEMOHP1 actually runs the fk filter, which takes some time. It is the same for the CGA and EGA versions of the demo. FOURTH To terminate the demonstration, type CONTROL-C (press and hold the CONTROL key, then press C) at any time you are not running graphics or plotting routines.
