Fourteenth Oil Recovery Conference

The Tertiary Oil Recovery Project (TORP) at the University of Kansas in conjunction with the North Midcontinent Region of the Petroleum Technology Transfer Council will hold its Fourteenth Oil Recovery Conference in Wichita, Kansas on March 14-15, 2001. All technical sessions will be held in the auditorium in the lower courtyard of the Bank of America located at 100 North Broadway.

Topics will include horizontal drilling, the use of carbon dioxide and polymer gels for enhanced oil recovery, the potential and operational aspects of coalbed methane production, 3D seismic, affordable telemetry (remote data gathering) solutions, future oil and gas prices, and Department of Energy programs for independent oil operators

A fee of $65.00 covers registration, a cocktail party the evening of March 14, luncheon on March 15, and a copy of the printed conference proceedings.
