Interwell Scale

Issues in scale-dependence and architecture control permeability modeling at all scales. It is appropiatete to arithmetically average permeability only when it is believed or known to be laterally extensive or parallel. In randomly distributed lithofacies geometric averaging for the specific lithofacies is appropriate. At larger scales permeability and flow units may follow non-statistical models.
