Click on the Map View window to activate the interface. Below the gridded map and above the log, select a remediation technology.
Follow the directions on the tool bar to set up the remediation design. When you are satisfied with the design click on the Submit button.
A pop-up window will appear informing you of the total cost of installing your design, the weekly operation and maintenance cost, and your bank balance at the start of the simulation. The window also informs you of the time that elapsed between remediation design submission and installation.
If the costs and the time lag are acceptable to you then click yes. You then have the option of moving forward and operating the design or going back and redesigning your remediation scheme or choosing a different technology.
Once you complete the remediation of the aquifer click on the Go Back button to develop and operate another remediation design using the current technology you just tried out or a different one.
