  • Design software system to combine custom G.I.S. with G.P.S. to assist in Kansas water level measurements acquisition.
  • Design software and hardware for the processing and acquisition of seismic reflection data.
  • Write specifications for computing and data acquisition equipment.
  • Maintenance of high-resolution seismic exploration equipment, including 12, 24, and 48, and 96-channel seismographs, vibrator sources, and time break systems.
  • Installation, operation, and maintenance of Earthquake Networks in southeastern Kansas, southeastern Nebraska, and western Nebraska.
  • Repair and maintenance of lab recording and computing equipment.
  • Principal author of WinSeis, a Windows-based seismic data processing system for microcomputers.
  • President/Owner, B&D Electronics, a for-profit electronics company, manufacturing and selling products for personal microcomputers and providing engineering consulting, 1980-1994.
  • Co-author of Eavesdropper, a seismic data processing system for microcomputers.
