South of the town of Zeandale in Riley County, Deep Creek flows over a limestone ledge (Elmont Limestone Member of the Emporia Limestone). Known as Pillsbuury Crossing, the waterfall is nearly 40 feet wide and has a drop of approximately 5 feet. To get to Pillsbury Crossing from I-70, take Deep Creek Road (exit 316) north about 5 miles to Pillsbury Crossing Road. Follow Pillsbury Crossing Road to the east approximately 2 miles (from The Geologic Record, vol. 7.1).
