Results of this Study

1. Procedures demonstrated in this study provide a guide for reservoir characterization, simulation and management of similar reservoirs in Kansas and the midcontinent.
2. Specify procedures to map remaining hydrocarbon reserves in marginal fields by using cost effective technologies.
3. Use simulation results to design reservoir management plans for:
   • targeting infill drilling in areas of best potential
   • predicting performance of future infill wells
   • studying effects of different FBHPs on well performance
   • comparing performance of vertical and horizontal infill wells
4. This study demonstrates that PC-based reservoir simulating is a practical reality for small independent producers with limited resources.
