A histogram of ratio of vertical to horizontal permeability in 48 core plugs show that the maximum frequency occurs for ratio values ranging between 0.1 to 0.2.

A vertical to horizontal permeability ratio of 0.15 was used in this study. This ratio was obtained by trial-and-error in the simulation study and it resulted in the best match of total field production to the recorded history.
