Loess and Paleoenvironments

Loess deposits provide important information about paleoclimate, as well as the local and regional geomorphology at the time of its deposition. This theme session is devoted to exploring examples of loess and related eolian deposits, and how their sedimentology, mineralogy, geomorphology and archeology can be used for paleoenvironmental reconstructions.
