Groundwater Flow and Transport Processes in Carbonate Aquifers

This session aims to highlight recent advances in understanding the broad range of groundwater-controlled processes that occur in carbonate aquifers, including the formation of karst, base metal mineral deposition, hydrocarbon accumulation, and diagenesis. Presentations may include numerical modeling, analytical, or field studies that provide new insights into the formation and alteration of carbonate aquifers by groundwater.
