Miscible flooding is the only oil recovery process that has potential of recovering additional oil from reservoirs that have been waterflooded either naturally or by planned development

CO₂ offers the lowest Minimum Miscibility Pressure (MMP) of most economic solvents

• Higher MMPs: CH₄, Air, N₂, Flue Gas, LNG
• Higher Cost: Alcohols, Ketones, LPG, Refined Hydrocarbons
